By the time Oldtimer Projekt Company came into existence, a few years of experience had allowed its founder to work in a big German company, the activity profile of which involved restoration and running repairs of classic Italian cars. Years of stay in Munich were extremely important as it was the period of familiarizing mainly with sports cars, such as: Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, OM, Lancia or Maserati. However, the opportunity of gaining new other skills was even more vital. To see the mechanics who were the amateurs of classic sports cars gave a chance to observe and learn about constructing of engines, doing engine tests, panel beating, small manufacturing of individual parts and many other activities requiring a lot of creativity.
Marcin is a young enthusiast with great manual and constructing skills. At the age of 12, he began, first out of curiosity and later as a passion, to build plane models. In all the models, a great attention has been paid to an exact reproduction of details: rivets, tightening cords, mechanisms of pulling out and hiding the wheels, a system for controlling combustion engine together with a remote control in Red Baron style. Everything is ideally trimmed and works perfectly. In 2003, Marcin was the Junior Champion of Poland in modelling. Greatly committed to the restoration of antique cars, he is the main constructor of most of the instruments for parts produced by our company. Everyone who has met a modeller in their environment knows what such people can do – 100 per cent of professionalism, nothing more to add.
Dariusz has been a driving force behind many of our projects and has contributed to the logic of realization of our orders. As an amateur and possessor of military vehicles, he has participated in a few military rallies. Dariusz has spent a lot of hours renovating both vehicles from the period of World War II and other vehicles, e.g., London cabs. It is precious to cooperate with a person who has dealt with various technologies and whose knowledge is invaluable.
